Welcome to FutureWorks BI

This is the Home Page, from which all the features of the FutureWorks BI application are accessed.  The FutureWorks BI logo, on the left of the top banner, will return you from wherever you are in the application; just click it – you are never lost. 

The info icon (  )  that you clicked to bring up this help information is also available from anywhere in the application and will open a page like this explaining the use of the dashboards showing on your screen.  Help information is intentionally opened in a separate tab in your browser so that you can use browser features to undock this page to a new browser window, resize it, and keep it open while you explore the described dashboards. To move a browser tab to a new window, right-click over the tab you want to undock and select (for Edge) Move tab to > New Window; (for Chrome) Move tab to new window.  Refer to your browser’s help for other useful features like web page captures and collections.  Features will vary depending on your chosen browser. 

The home page is divided into two parts; the Primary Data Views which encompass all the capabilities needed to drill anywhere into the PIRL and supplemental data describing your WIOA programs, and Featured Data Views which are topical, that is, they highlight certain policy areas and are designed to allow a more focused analysis of these subjects.  Again, refer to the info icon for each data view. 

Navigation Tips 

The FutureWorks Bi logo will always return you to the home page. 

Using the Cards 

Card images link to the named data view.  Mouseover the title of the card to view a short description of that data view.   The WIOA Topics card contains submenus of topical data views when clicked. 

Banner Icons 

Explore the icons on the top banner.  These features are available from wherever you are in the application. 

	Capture	Saves the current state of the view
	Gallery	Gallery of saved views
	View Menu	Access any view in the application
	Information	Information about the data view or visualization
	Data Status	Information about the currently available data in the application
	Reference	Application reference material, FWS Academy and Support contact information.
	Sign Out	Log off the application
